This past August, The Mission celebrated its 11th Ladies' Congress with 405 women in attendance. From all across Honduras, women arrived at the Bible Institute campus filled with laughter, smiles, and joy. They greeted one another with hugs and enjoyed the blessing of fellowship together.
The banquet night was a special highlight, featuring music shared by women from different villages. More importantly, it was a time spent in God's presence, where many hearts were renewed and strengthened. Some of the women walked long distances just to reach public transportation, while others traveled by bus, truck, or motorcycle. A few even faced vehicle troubles along the way, yet all came with joy, eager to celebrate the Lord's goodness.
In addition to receiving eyeglasses, jewelry, and other gifts, the greatest blessing of the weekend was spiritual. Two women gave their hearts to Jesus, and two others re-dedicated their lives to Him. The Mission is deeply grateful to God and to the donors whose generosity made this gathering possible.
